End of Year School Floor Strip & Polish – SW2
At Clear Spaces, we’re proud to support schools across London in keeping their facilities clean, safe, and welcoming. Recently, we carried out a floor stripping and polishing project in a South London school (SW2), covering 11 classrooms and multiple toilets — a total of 589m².
What We Did
This project was completed over 3 days, with our professional cleaners restoring the school’s flooring to a fresh, polished finish ready for the new academic year. Our process included:
Stripping the floors of old polish using high-performance Jantex floor stripper and black stripping pads to remove marks and heavy wear from the school year
Deep mopping and rinsing to ensure all dirt, residue, and chemicals were completely removed
Allowing the surfaces to fully dry before applying fresh polish
Applying polish with a white pad, working backwards towards the exits to prevent footprints or streaks
